Search and Seizure for the Active Officer

This one-day class is designed to strengthen the legal knowledge and practical application of arrest procedures and constitutional protections for law enforcement personnel at the federal level. Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of key Fourth Amendment legal standards and the associated protections under the Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments.

The course emphasizes legal compliance and operational effectiveness by aligning instruction with Department of Justice Consent Decree language, federal and state legal standards, and generally accepted police practices.
